How To Get Blotches Off Lcd Camera Screen
Sep 06, 2010 sixteen:xx |#1 i have a lcd protection screen on my 40D. I was wonder about how to get rid of some wet spot on my lcd screen how tin i get rid of it Proper noun: Brad |
Sep 06, 2010 16:28 |#2 Is the spot between the LCD screen and the cover screen? I've got a rigid protector on mine, and it seals all the fashion effectually. Any water spots on the cover screen i've been able to remove with Windex. If yous've got moisture betwixt the cover screen and the LCD, you'll have to carefully remove and clean. I'd buy a new embrace screen equally they are cheap. Sep 06, 2010 16:34 |#3 how to i remove information technology if its with that double side gule and what kind to yous have Proper noun: Brad |
Sep 06, 2010 17:49 |#4 The embrace says GGS and it's for 40D and 50D. What I would practice is take a razor blade (i from a box cutter) or an Xacto knife and carefully cutting the seal from the edge inward all the mode effectually. Once you have the encompass separated, I'll bet yous can just rub the remaining adhesive off with your pollex. If not, take some rubbing booze on a soft cloth to remove. Don't soak the LCD screen; it doesn't have much alcohol to loosen the adhesive. I'd wash information technology all off with Windex when done. I've replaced one like this on another camera, and it wasn't that hard. Merely take your time in going effectually the embrace, and information technology will come off intact! Good luck! Become a long fleck, which you're probably gonna use a lot of, and while keeping the floss tight use a sawing motion from one corner to the other. A tiny scrap of rubbing alcohol to clean up the gooey stuff and much more alcohol for you lot for doing a swell job. Cheers α7ii + (batis 25 f2 / zeiss 55 f1,eight / macro 90 f2,8) |
